The shape of each soul
Season2, “Dancer meets Electric wheelchair Soccer player.”
Project name
The Shape of Each Soul Season 1, "Dancer meets Electric wheelchair Soccer player."
Overview of the project
This is a collaborative project with the Japan Powerchair Football Association. Through exchanges between powerchair football players and dancers, the project aims to clarify the role that dance can play in building a diverse and sustainable society, and to explore the significance and potential of dance in modern society.
Aim of the project
The dancer and the powerchair soccer player will create a space where they can share the sports and arts that are the driving force behind their lives, and through each other's bodies, they will think about what they can do in this moment and develop the ability to materialize feasible actions. Also, by directly participating in the initiatives that each of them holds dear, they will deepen their mutual understanding and aim to create an environment where people, the source of differences in age, gender, hobbies, tastes and expertise, can autonomously interact with each other.
〇Specific details of the project
In addition to supporting the powerchair soccer players in their sport, we are also considering the following activities as ways to interact with them through dance:
①DANCE performance
Original dance performance
A diversity dance piece was presented that actively incorporated a variety of dance experiences.
②Dancer meets soccer player.
A dance exchange event was held between electric wheelchair soccer players and dancers.
③Electric wheelchair soccer player DANCE
They lined up, spun around, and crossed paths together in time with the rhythm, attempting to create a team dance in which they shared "play" (choreography by Shimizu).
④Electric wheelchair soccer GAME & PLACTICE
The dancers watch live competitions and practice sessions.
〇Goals to be achieved
